How to vote

Members have two methods for voting in the elections. By default, everyone will be sent a physical ballot via mail, which can be mailed back to our chapter office until July 3rd. However, we encourage members to fill out this opt-out form to instead vote online, using software called OpaVote. Opting-opt will allow us to reduce the number of packets we need to print and mail, so please consider this!

If you elect to vote online, you’ll receive your ballot via email right before Convention starts, and periodic reminders to vote throughout the week.

We have prepared some information about using OpaVote, as well an explainer about our vote counting method:

  1. How to use OpaVote
  2. Overview of the Borda counting method

If you have any questions, please email us!
