Become a dues-paying member and join the fight for popular control of our society! To join DSA as a member of the New Orleans chapter, go to go.dsausa.org/neworleans and fill out the form.
Standard national dues are $15 per month or $5 for low income folks; no one is turned away for lack of funds.
Becoming a member entitles you to vote on proposals and resolutions at our General Meetings, vote in chapter elections, and run for leadership positions within the Chapter.
Optionally, you can also make a recurring donation directly to the chapter as Local Dues. These are not required for membership, but help us expand and sustain our work locally!

Discord is a group messaging app which helps keep us connected between meetings. People discuss political questions, post valuable readings, share jokes/post spicy memes, and sometimes make smaller, more logistical decisions (i.e. minor decisions that don’t need to be voted on by the larger body of the chapter).
