In an effort to support businesses that fight for queer rights, and in an effort to help inform queer people about businesses that choose to act against the LGBTQ+ community, New Orleans DSA’s Queer Socialists Section has created its Queer Business Map. This map contains local pro-LGBTQ+ and anti-LGBTQ+ locations, which are then sorted by type for ease of understanding.
This is an ongoing campaign led by New Orleans DSA’s Queer Socialists Section, but we are still a small team of people, and we need support. If you know of any businesses that do not appear on this list that are pro- or anti- LGBTQ+, please fill out our anonymous form, and we will vote on whether or not to add it to the map. Please also consider joining New Orleans DSA and becoming a part of its Queer Socialists Section.
