Guidelines and procedures
Voting procedure and Slack
As amendments and resolutions are debated during the meeting, voting will take place live using the #dues-only channel in Slack. The Convention Committee determined that Slack would be the most seamless way to vote in real-time while also tallying up votes as motions are put forward.
Members in good standing will be added to that channel before the start of Convention.
Not on Slack yet? Be sure to download the app and familiarize yourself with it before the 25th. If you need an invite, reach out to email@example.com. Once you’ve logged in, you can check out our FAQ page, which contains information about using Slack.
